What happened
TD reset Aeroplan Visa welcome bonuses on September 1, 2026, advertising 100,000 points on Infinite Privilege and 50,000 on Infinite. Privilege pays 20,000 points on the first purchase and 30,000 more after $12,000 spend in 180 days. The remaining 50,000 points arrive as an anniversary bonus after $24,000 spend in 12 months, and only if the $599 card is kept into year two.
Privilege applicants must clear a $150,000 personal or $200,000 household income floor. Spend earns 1,000 Status Qualifying Credits per $5,000, capped at 25,000 SQC a calendar year. From 2027, a Privilege holder who re-qualifies for elite status gets an uncapped 10% SQC head start from the prior year.
The Infinite card pays 10,000 points on the first purchase and 15,000 more after $3,000 spend in 90 days. A 25,000-point anniversary bonus requires $12,000 spend in 12 months. TD is rebating the first-year annual fee on that card.
Pass on Privilege unless the $599 fee and a wait into year two are acceptable for 100,000 points rather than Infinite's 50,000 points with a first-year fee rebate.
