Aeroplan buy-miles sale pays 100% bonus through Sept 25

Expired

What happened

Air Canada is selling Aeroplan miles with a 100% bonus on purchases of 80,000 or more from September 11 through September 25, 2026, at 1.35 US cents per mile. Smaller purchases of 30,000 to 70,000 miles earn 75%. Buys of 5,000 to 25,000 miles earn 50%, and nothing below 5,000 miles earns a bonus.

The sale runs only through Points.com. Members in good standing must refresh the page while logged in during the window to qualify. Each transaction can cover 5,000 to 500,000 purchased miles, lifting the usual 250,000 cap. Purchased miles count toward a 1 million calendar-year limit. Bonus miles do not. Buying for another member is capped at 500,000 purchased miles a year. Miles generally post within 72 hours and cannot be refunded.

The 1.35 US cent price is higher than the 1.14 and 1.22 cent levels from 2024 and 2025 sales. Aeroplan can ticket Star Alliance and non-alliance partner awards online with stopovers. Only buy 80,000 miles or more in one transaction after refreshing while logged in if 1.35 US cents per mile works for a booking in hand.
