What happened
Aeroplan members who book eligible Air Canada economy fares between September 8 and September 15, 2026 earn 4 bonus points per dollar of base fare and carrier surcharges, on top of the usual 1 point per dollar, for travel from September 15, 2026 through July 31, 2027. A member without status earns 5 points per dollar. No registration is required and the extra points appear at fare selection.
Eligible fares start at Economy Standard on Air Canada-operated flights, including Express and Rouge. Premium economy and business class are excluded. Codeshare and award tickets do not earn the bonus, and neither do Points + Cash bookings. The 4 extra points do not multiply elite status, so a 25K member earns 6 points per dollar. Bonus credit can take up to 8 weeks after travel to post.
Within Canada only 5 Montréal city pairs qualify. International itineraries from Canada to a listed city such as San Francisco or Boston count, including connections. The travel window is the longest of Air Canada's 2026 flight bonuses. Book Economy Standard or higher by September 15, 2026 only against a cash trip already needed on those routes; otherwise skip it.
