What happened
Rapid Rewards Shopping members earn a one-time 2,000-point Rapid Rewards bonus for $200 or more in qualifying portal spend from September 30 through October 12, 2026. Those points sit on top of standard portal earnings. The $200 can be spread across multiple qualifying purchases in the window.
Gift cards and cash-equivalents do not qualify. Orders at Giftcards.com may still count when they track as a regular purchase. Returns and cancellations drop out of the total. Taxes and shipping do not count. A promo code missing from the portal can block tracking. The bonus can take up to 10 weeks after October 12 to post to a Rapid Rewards account.
Frequent Miler calls the bonus much stronger than a typical Southwest portal promotion and puts it at a 10X return on $200 of spend plus ordinary portal points.
