What happened
IHG One Rewards is taking 15% off award nights booked through September 21, 2026, for stays by November 2, 2026. Co-branded IHG cardholders have first access, and elite members without a card are expected to follow.
The checkout screen shows the original and discounted points prices. Points & Cash bookings receive the cut only on the points portion. The discount does not combine with the fourth night free on co-branded cards.
A 40,000-point free night certificate can cover hotels that would have needed a points top-off. Existing award bookings in the stay window can be rebooked if they remain changeable. Book or rebook any stay that already fits by November 2, 2026, ahead of the September 21 cutoff.
