LoyaltyLobby reports existing IHG Premier Credit Card holders are eligible for a $100 statement credit in 2026 and again in 2027 after a direct airline purchase of at least $250. Chase has not told current cardholders about the benefit after a recent refresh of the cobranded cards.
LoyaltyLobby charged a LATAM ticket and saw the $100 credit post the morning the fare posted. Completing the purchase from Chile took several tries because of geo restrictions and a Chase fraud block. Non-hotel charges on the card may be blocked by Chase fraud controls.
Put a $250 or larger direct airline purchase on the Premier card in 2026 and again in 2027, and be ready for a fraud block on a non-hotel charge.
