Chase is paying an 80% bonus on Ultimate Rewards transfers to IHG One Rewards from November 1 through December 3, 2026. Transfers that normally move 1:1 instead credit 1.8 IHG points per Ultimate Rewards point.
Frequent Miler reports that IHG points were on sale for 0.5 cents each when its post went up. Buying 45,000 IHG points cost $225. Getting those 45,000 IHG points with the bonus takes 25,000 Ultimate Rewards, a yield of less than 1 cent each. Frequent Miler says not to make the transfer.
Pass on the transfer and buy IHG points at 0.5 cents if a stay is needed, saving Ultimate Rewards for better partners.
