Delta and Hyatt start exclusive dual-earn partnership

Multiple sources

What happened

Delta SkyMiles is pairing with World of Hyatt on an exclusive long-term loyalty partnership beginning in the coming months, as Hyatt ends its American Airlines AAdvantage relationship. Under Dual Earn, Delta Medallion members add SkyMiles on qualifying Hyatt stay spend while still getting World of Hyatt benefits.

On qualifying Delta fare classes, World of Hyatt elite members will earn Hyatt points and some SkyMiles benefits. Reciprocal elite recognition is expected but remains unspecified. Earn rates and full eligibility have not been released.

The AAdvantage relationship once included dual accrual and was later scaled back. Members who link AAdvantage and World of Hyatt accounts by November 15, 2026 can keep existing earn rates for a few more months.

Watch for Dual Earn launch timing and earn rates, and link AAdvantage and World of Hyatt accounts by November 15, 2026 to hold existing earn rates through the wind-down.
