United is matching current year American Airlines and Delta elite members to MileagePlus Premier for 90 days, with a ticket spend challenge that can extend status through January 31, 2028, on applications through October 15, 2026. Approved matches post in 1 to 3 business days.
U.S. resident authenticated MileagePlus members with earned, not trial or promotional, AA or Delta status qualify. AA Gold and Delta Silver Medallion match to Silver at $1,500, and AA Platinum and Delta Gold Medallion match to Gold at $3,000. AA Platinum Pro and Delta Platinum Medallion match to Platinum at $4,500. The highest paid and lifetime AA and Delta tiers match to 1K at $7,000. Equal or higher Premier status is not matched. The 3 year match limit is waived and the standard match remains available.
Only United and United Express ticket spend counts. Partner perks during the challenge, including Star Alliance lounge access, may be missing. The complimentary window is 90 days rather than the standard 120.
