Targeted: United 90-day Premier match for Delta and American elites

United opened a Switch To Better Wi-Fi status match that gives eligible U.S. Delta SkyMiles and American AAdvantage elites 90 days of matching Premier status, with applications closing October 15, 2026. Paid spend on United or United Express during those 90 days can extend the match through January 31, 2028.

Silver Medallion and AAdvantage Gold match to Premier Silver. Extending it through January 31, 2028 takes $1,500 in base fare and carrier surcharges on tickets bought and flown in the 90 days. Gold Medallion and AAdvantage Platinum need $3,000 for Premier Gold. Platinum Medallion and AAdvantage Platinum Pro need $4,500 for Premier Platinum. Diamond Medallion and AAdvantage Executive Platinum need $7,000 for Premier 1K. Booking later travel or buying tickets for family does not count. Extra spend cannot raise a member above the Premier level United matched. United is waiving its usual once-every-three-years limit on status matches. Delta 360 and American ConciergeKey have separate match paths.

A successful challenge awards 20 PlusPoints to Premier Platinum and 100 PlusPoints to Premier 1K, not a full allotment. Apply by October 15, 2026 only if United travel already planned can hit the 90-day spend.
