- October 15, 2026: Last day to earn miles on Asiana-operated flights for members of various Star Alliance member airlines.
- December 16, 2026: Last day to redeem miles for award tickets and upgrades on Asiana flights. Also the last day for Star Alliance Silver and Gold members to enjoy status benefits like extra luggage and lounge access on Asiana. Asiana will become fully integrated into Korean Air on December 17, 2026, with the Asiana brand disappearing. The alliance will continue to operate through 14 member airlines in Seoul, including United, Lufthansa, and Singapore Airlines
Star Alliance has confirmed that Asiana Airlines will formally exit the alliance on December 16, 2026, at 23:59 Korea Standard Time, following its acquisition by Korean Air. Key deadlines for frequent flyers:
