Southwest is automatically taking up to 40% off select cash and award flights booked October 5 through 8, 2026, for travel on select flights from October 26, 2026, through March 3, 2027. The discount applies without a code. Eligible searches display the original price with a strikethrough next to a lower sale price.
The cut is not always 40%, and only select flights qualify. Interisland Hawaii travel is excluded. Peak and holiday blackouts apply on many continental U.S. itineraries. Extra blackouts apply on trips between the continental U.S. and international points, Hawaii, Anchorage, St. Thomas or San Juan. Already-ticketed Southwest trips can be repriced if the sale is cheaper.
