What happened
JetBlue will offer complimentary BlueFirst first-class upgrades to all Mosaic members and Premier cardholders when BlueFirst starts December 8 on Boston to Fort Lauderdale. One companion is allowed. Upgrades start clearing 60 minutes before departure. They do not add a checked-bag allowance.
Main Base and EvenMore Base fares cannot be upgraded. Partner-airline elites are ineligible. Premier cardholders without status must pay the base fare with the Premier card. Priority runs Mosaic 4 down to Mosaic 1, then cardholders. Most other TrueBlue changes take effect February 1, 2027.
From that date, lower-tier repeat perks convert to one-time passes. The old 5,000-point milestone choice becomes 1,000 points at four lower marks, or 4,000 if all are taken. Premier cardholders at Mosaic 3 or 4 earn 5 points per dollar on restaurant and grocery spend, limited to $50,000 combined a year, for as many as 150,000 extra points. Milestone rewards must be chosen within 60 days or they are lost.
Mosaic 3 and 4 Premier cardholders should plan around the upgrades and grocery earn, while everyone else should use remaining repeat perks before February 1, 2027.
