What happened
JetBlue will offer TrueBlue Mosaic members and JetBlue Premier Cardholders unlimited complimentary space-available upgrades into BlueFirst when the cabin opens on Boston-Fort Lauderdale on December 8, 2026. BlueFirst is a 2-2 recliner cabin, not Mint, and will expand after that first route.
Passengers who qualify are placed on the waitlist automatically and can check standing in the JetBlue app. Space-available clearance begins 60 minutes before departure. Mosaic 4 sits at the front of the queue, followed by lower Mosaic tiers, then Premier Cardholders without Mosaic. A single companion on the same reservation can upgrade. Groups of three or more cannot unless the booking is split before check-in. Authorized users on the Premier Card without elite status still qualify if that card pays for the trip.
Main Base and EvenMore Base tickets are ineligible, and United MileagePlus Premier status does not grant the benefit. Upgrades apply to BlueFirst only.
Use a qualifying fare with Mosaic or the Premier Card and do not build an itinerary around BlueFirst.
