What happened
Invited IHG One Rewards members get 15% off the cash portion of Points & Cash nights booked from August 3 through August 24, 2026, for stays through September 7, 2026. The discount appears only while signed in on an official IHG site and only at participating hotels.
This is not a mixed cash-and-points award. IHG sells extra points at checkout that then pay for a full points night. LoyaltyLobby puts the implied cost at 0.51 U.S. cents a point, among the lowest it has seen. The offer cannot be transferred. Cash paid for the extra points is non-refundable. Cancel the stay and the original and purchased points return to the account, with no cash refund.
Members who have already hit the usual annual purchase cap can still add points this way. Hotel time zones can shift the booking cutoff slightly.
If the 15% discount appears after login, book needed nights by August 24, 2026.
