What happened
IHG One Rewards is offering a 100% bonus on point purchases from September 15 through October 5, 2026, at 0.5 U.S. cents a point after the bonus. Members who see the personalized offer can buy up to 300,000 points, or 600,000 with the bonus. This is the program's seventh buy-points sale of 2026.
A purchase must be at least 5,000 points per transaction to earn the bonus. Points already purchased in 2026 count against the 300,000 cap. After October 5 the usual 200,000 calendar-year limit applies. Purchased and bonus points can take up to 72 hours to post. They do not count toward elite status and are not refundable. The offer cannot be combined with other deals or forwarded.
