IHG doubles Business Rewards points to 6 per dollar through Dec 31

Registered IHG Business Rewards members earn 6 points per U.S. dollar, up from the standard 3, when they book rooms for others or arrange meetings and events from October 1 through December 31, provided the stay or event is completed by July 30, 2027.

Registration on IHG's site is required before the bonus will credit. Qualifying spend on any one stay or meeting is capped at $20,000, which awards a maximum of 120,000 points. Bonus points can take up to 6 weeks to post. Guests in the booked rooms still collect their own IHG One Rewards points and remain eligible for regular or targeted bonuses. Only the original 3 points per dollar count toward elite status.

Six Senses and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts are excluded, as are Ruby Hotels and some alliance properties. Group bookings of 10 or more rooms may need a direct hotel booking and a signed contract.
