What happened
SAS is selling cash fares at up to 40% off, with tickets due by Monday 5 October, as it marks its 80th year. An email framed the sale as being for EuroBonus elite members.
The booking page does not call the sale Diamond-only and does not state who qualifies. Other elite tiers or members might still book. Europe and Africa travel is valid from 26 October 2026 through 30 April 2027. Domestic flights use that window as well. North America and Asia itineraries open on 1 November 2026 and run through 30 April 2027.
A European business-class fare came down after the sale appeared. Book by 5 October with EuroBonus elite status for any trip that fits those windows.
