What happened
Small and medium businesses that join IHG's free Business Edge program by December 31, 2026 receive 15,000 One Rewards points. The program has no membership fee and no minimum annual spend.
Enrollment requires a valid One Rewards number and a company registration form, and IHG processes that registration within 5 business days. Approved companies receive a Corporate ID and a booking portal for colleagues. A discount is guaranteed at more than 6,000 hotels worldwide for business or personal trips. Silver Elite is awarded after the first stay booked at the Business Edge rate, and colleagues who book on the Corporate ID receive the discount and the same status after one qualifying stay.
Firms already inside IHG's managed-account portfolio cannot join. The contracted rate is typically a fixed percentage off BAR, so a sale or credit-card rate can still be lower. It can also be missing when a hotel is sold out or does not participate.
Enroll by December 31, 2026 if the company qualifies as a small or medium business.
