Icelandair will fly Keflavik to St. Louis from May 14, 2027

What happened

Icelandair will add seasonal flights from Keflavik to St. Louis from May 14 through Oct. 24, 2027. St. Louis is the airline's 16th U.S. gateway and its first new U.S. city for 2027. The flights will operate 3 to 4 times a week.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 on the route has 16 recliner seats up front and 144 in economy. Icelandair is positioning St. Louis as a Midwest feed with partner Southwest, the airport's busiest carrier. A stopover in Iceland of up to 7 days comes at no extra cost. British Airways and Lufthansa already serve St. Louis from Europe. WOW Air flew the same pairing in 2018 and 2019.

Watch for bookings to open for travel from May 14 to Oct. 24, 2027 if St. Louis is a convenient jump to Iceland or Europe.
