What happened
Capital One is paying a 30% bonus on transfers to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club from October 21 through November 20, 2026. The usual 1:1 ratio becomes 1,300 Flying Club miles per 1,000 Capital One miles, and the extra miles should show at the time of transfer.
No registration is required and there is no reported cap. Transfers to Virgin Atlantic are generally instant. Capital One last ran a 30% Flying Club bonus about a year earlier.
Flying Club is a niche program with limited sweet spots. LoyaltyLobby says to book partners instead of Virgin Atlantic flights, given the high award fees. Dynamically priced Upper Class to the UK can price under 30,000 points one-way, while ANA transpacific premium space remains hard to find.
Transfer only against a Flying Club award that can be booked today, and do it before November 20, 2026.
