What happened
Capital One has added Copa Airlines ConnectMiles as a miles transfer partner at a 2:1.5 ratio and is paying a 30% bonus on those transfers through December 1, 2026. Eligible cardholders complete the transfer in the Capital One website or app from Transfer Rewards after entering a loyalty number.
The 2:1.5 ratio is weaker than the 1:1 rate Capital One uses for most of its airline partners. Copa is a Star Alliance member. The alliance reaches more than 1,250 destinations in 193 countries. Capital One now has 23 airline and hotel transfer partners.
Transfers cannot be moved back into a Capital One rewards account once finalized. Transfer by December 1, 2026 only against an award that can be booked now.
