What happened
Capital One is paying a 30% bonus on miles transferred to Copa ConnectMiles through December 1, 2026, turning 1,000 miles into 975 ConnectMiles. Copa became the bank's 23rd transfer partner on November 2.
The base rate is 2:1.5, or 750 ConnectMiles per 1,000 Capital One miles, which trails the 1:1 Copa transfers at Rove and Citi ThankYou. Transfers must be at least 1,000 miles and move in 100-mile steps. Copa prices awards on a zone chart with saver and standard inventory. Saver space can include Star Alliance partners. Standard awards stay on Copa and United. Published charts cover the Americas only.
With the bonus, lie-flat business class between North America and South America can cost 71,800 Capital One miles each way. Saver awards are cheaper but inventory is limited.
Transfer only against a Copa or Star Alliance award that can be booked now, before the bonus ends December 1.
