What happened
Capital One is paying a 30% bonus on transfers to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red through November 20, 2026. The usual 1:1 rate becomes 1:1.3. The offer started October 21.
The minimum send is 1,000 miles, with 100-mile steps after that. With the bonus, 4,700 Capital One miles fund a 6,000-point transatlantic economy award. Virgin Points have no expiration. Some partner awards, including certain Delta flights, can be booked on Virgin's site.
Frequent Miler still flags US-UK economy as a notable Virgin use, along with business class on the same routes. ANA first class is another, though it must be booked by phone or message. Doctor of Credit notes that Capital One has offered a similar Virgin bonus before.
Transfer only against a Virgin award that can be booked today, before the bonus ends on November 20.
