What happened
Delta raised most SkyMiles partner accrual rates on Aeromexico, Aerolíneas Argentinas and LATAM as of September 10, 2026, while cutting Aerolíneas Argentinas T-class MQDs from 10% to 5%.
Aerolíneas Argentinas business and premium economy now credit 125% of distance, up from 100%. Economy classes M and B jump from 50% to 100%, and fare classes K, U, H, L and Q earn 75% instead of 50%. Deeply discounted T fares now earn 5% MQDs instead of 10%.
Delta-ticketed Aeromexico-marketed tickets issued on or after that date earn on fare class and distance instead of ticket price. Business classes D, I and Z move from 150% to 200% of distance flown. Delta-stock 006 tickets issued on or before September 10, 2026 still accrue as Delta-marketed, DL-operated flights, including Medallion bonuses. Flights marketed by SkyTeam but operated by a non-SkyTeam carrier earn no SkyMiles.
Check fare class before crediting Aerolíneas Argentinas or Delta-ticketed Aeromexico to SkyMiles; 006 tickets issued through September 10, 2026 still earn as Delta-stock.
