ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe leaves IHG on December 1, 2026

IHG is notifying guests with ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe stays after November 30, 2026 that the hotel leaves the network on December 1 and that honoured reservations will earn no One Rewards points or elite-qualifying nights. The property will keep operating under an undisclosed brand and says booked rooms will still be available.

IHG has already stopped taking bookings for dates after the exit. Elite status benefits will not apply. Award nights booked through IHG are not a sure thing after the switch, unlike most cash reservations that proceed unless the hotel shuts. Guests often get only about a month of warning before a hotel drops out.

Worth moving any ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe reservation from December 1, 2026 onto another IHG hotel if the stay still needs to earn points or elite-qualifying nights.
