What happened
American Express has launched two separate hotel promotions for US cardholders. **Leading Hotels of the World (LHW):** Earn 15,000 bonus Membership Rewards points after spending $700 USD on room rate and charges. Valid for stays booked directly via lhw.com, the LHW app, or by phone. Offer ends July 31, 2026. **Preferred Hotels & Resorts:** Earn $100 statement credit after spending $500 USD on room rate and charges. Valid for stays booked directly via preferredhotels.com/offer/amexoffer-2026. Offer ends July 8, 2026. Both offers require enrollment, are limited to eligible Amex cards issued in the US, and are non-transferable. Qualifying purchases must be made directly with the hotel group, excluding third-party resellers
