What happened
Citi ThankYou points holders in the United States can transfer points to Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) Leaders Club with a 25% bonus from April 19 to May 16, 2026. The standard transfer ratio is 5:1; during this promotion, it improves to 4:1 (in increments of 1,000:250). The bonus is hard-coded into the transfer tool. Transfers are generally instant and can be taken an unlimited number of times. LHW is a marketing group for independent luxury hotels, including properties like the Ritz Paris. Points are redeemed dynamically, with estimated value around 2.0 cents per Citi ThankYou point when factoring in the bonus ratio. Note that booking via LHW may forfeit perks from programs like Virtuoso
