American Airlines Upgrades Lounge Dining with Hot Meals and Scan-to-Order Menus

American Airlines is rolling out elevated dining options in its Admirals Clubs, including additional hot food items and upgraded charcuterie, while Flagship Lounges have introduced scan-to-order menus and cheese stations

What happened

American Airlines is enhancing its lounge food offerings, moving beyond snacks to provide more complete hot meal options with elevated presentation in its Admirals Clubs. The airline is also introducing two additional hot food items and rotating menu items to help customers build a true meal. In its Flagship Lounges, American has rolled out scan-to-order menu offerings via QR codes, a concept first debuted in Philadelphia. Additionally, Flagship Lounges will soon feature cheese monger stations. American is also beginning to offer elevated top-shelf wine selections, including Veuve Clicquot rosé and Caymus Vineyards cabernet sauvignon, for sale in its Admirals Clubs. These changes aim to close the gap with competitors like Delta Air Lines and meet growing expectations for lounge dining
