What happened
Air Canada Aeroplan is implementing changes to its award chart effective June 1, 2026. The update results in higher mileage requirements for most flight awards, with increases ranging from 10% to 20%. Certain routes, particularly those between the Atlantic and Pacific, see increases up to 67%. Conversely, some short-haul and specific long-haul routes may see slight decreases or remain stable. The changes affect redemptions across North America, the Atlantic (Europe, Africa, Middle East, India), and the Pacific (Asia, Australia, New Zealand) regions
