What happened
United Airlines has unveiled the CRJ-450, a rebranded version of the CRJ-200 regional jet, featuring a new 41-seat cabin layout. The configuration includes 7 first-class seats and 34 economy seats (including Economy Plus). Key upgrades include the removal of first-class overhead bins in favor of a larger luggage closet, larger overhead bins in economy capable of fitting larger carry-ons, and the introduction of Starlink Wi-Fi, which will be free for MileagePlus members. United expects to have more than 50 of these aircraft in service by 2028.
