U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve adds 1:1 Qantas transfers

What happened

U.S. Bank has launched loyalty-point transfers for Altitude Reserve, a card it closed to new applicants in November 2024. The option now sits in the Altitude Reserve Rewards Center.

Qantas Frequent Flyer transfers at 1:1. Air France-KLM Flying Blue and Ethiopian Sheba Rewards use the same ratio. Accor Live Limitless is 2:1. Miles to Memories puts Accor points at a fixed value of about 2.3 cents each.

The bank had promised airline transfers for December 2025 and then removed that language from its site. Miles to Memories reports the feature is now live and limited to Altitude Reserve. The same post says the partner list has to grow before the currency can compete with other transferable programs.

Look for loyalty transfers in the Rewards Center if the card is already in hand. There is nothing to apply for until U.S. Bank adds cards or partners.
