What happened
Accor Live Limitless now converts U.S. Bank Points and Maximize MaxCoins into Accor Reward points at 2 to 1, with transfers starting at 2 of either currency.
The conversion is open to U.S. Bank cardholders and to Maximize members in India, where each MaxCoin is worth ₹1. Converted Accor points cover hotel stays and experiences in the ALL program. Accor already takes conversions from many other programs at mixed rates, and some of those rates are poor value. The 2:1 ratio is a standard conversion rather than a bonus.
LoyaltyLobby expects a U.S. Bank conversion bonus may follow, a pattern it says is common for U.S. banks.
