What happened
Turkish Airlines is awarding 1,923 bonus Status Miles to Miles&Smiles members who issue a ticket in its mobile app on October 29, 2026, a one-day Republic Day campaign covering travel from January 1 to May 31, 2027.
The bonus is Status Miles, not award miles, and posts within 7 days after the flown flight. Each member can receive it only once. The ticket has to be issued on October 29, 2026 in the Turkish Airlines mobile app under Türkiye local time. Only Turkish Airlines-operated scheduled flights that earn Status Miles count, and the itinerary must already be in the Miles&Smiles account before departure.
Retro-claimed flights do not qualify. Reissued tickets that missed the original campaign conditions are excluded, along with any ticket changed off the October 29, 2026 issue date.
Book in the app on October 29, 2026 only against a Turkish Airlines trip already planned for January 1 through May 31, 2027.
