What happened
Miles&Smiles members earn 2X award miles on paid Turkish Airlines flights between Istanbul and Mainland China when tickets are issued on the airline website or app from 22 to 28 October 2026. Travel must run from 11 November 2026 through 31 March 2027 on Turkish Airlines-operated scheduled flights.
The bonus is tied to the new Chengdu service and applies to paid one-way or round-trip tickets on the carrier's Istanbul routes to Mainland China. Only award miles are doubled. Status miles are not. Bonus miles post within 15 days after the flight. The Miles&Smiles number must be added before departure. Youth Club members are included. Retroactive claims after travel do not qualify.
Booking is limited to turkishairlines.com or the Turkish Airlines app. Corporate and group tickets are excluded, along with special-segment fares. Changed tickets do not earn the bonus. Codeshares and Star Alliance partner-operated flights are ineligible.
For IST-China travel in that period, issue a paid Turkish Airlines-operated ticket on the site or app by 28 October 2026 and attach the Miles&Smiles number before flying.
