What happened
SWISS Senses first class, available on newly delivered Airbus A350-900s, cannot be booked directly with miles. Passengers must either pay cash for a ticket or upgrade from business class. Recent changes affect cash upgrades at online check-in: while previously available for partner award tickets, they are now restricted to revenue tickets issued by the Lufthansa Group. Partner award tickets (including those booked with Miles & More miles) are no longer eligible for online check-in upgrades. Confirmed upgrades from business to first class remain available at the time of booking on revenue tickets if 'A' fare class is available. Airport standby upgrades are possible but risky due to limited cabin capacity (three seats)
