Alaska Airlines Adds 3 Sonoma Routes, Returns to Long Beach

Alaska Airlines launches three seasonal Sonoma routes to Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and Boise on Nov 1, and returns to Long Beach on Sept 8

What happened

Alaska Airlines announced the launch of three new seasonal routes from Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) starting November 1, 2026, through April 2027. The routes are STS to Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX), STS to Salt Lake City (SLC), and STS to Boise (BOI), operated by Embraer 175s. This expansion follows Southwest Airlines' recent entry into Sonoma. Additionally, Alaska will return to Long Beach Airport (LGB) for the first time since 2015, launching nonstop service to Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) on September 8, 2026, using a Boeing 737. This LGB-SEA link provides connectivity to Hawaiian Airlines flights to Honolulu and Maui
