What happened
Southwest Airlines has introduced a promotional Companion Pass offer. To qualify, members must register for the promotion and then purchase one roundtrip ticket or two one-way tickets between August 3 and August 6, 2026. Tickets can be booked with cash, points, or a combination of both. The qualifying ticket must have a travel date by November 18, 2026. The promotional Companion Pass is valid for travel between January 5 and March 3, 2027. During this period, the companion can be changed up to three times. This offer provides a shortcut to the standard Companion Pass, which typically requires 100 flights or 135,000 qualifying points in a calendar year
