What happened
Flying Blue now awards one XP for every €15 spent on sustainable aviation fuel, up from €10, a 50% overnight increase that One Mile at a Time found with no public promotion. Rounding was removed, so spend below the new increment earns nothing.
Flying Blue members who buy SAF to offset Air France-KLM flights are affected. On short-haul economy, a €14 contribution can yield zero XPs while €28 earns one. One XP per 2,000 miles contributed toward other environmental projects is still described as available.
Members who used SAF purchases for XPs now pay €15 per XP or should shift that earning to Flying Blue's US co-branded card.
