Capital One is paying a 20% bonus on miles transferred to Air France/KLM Flying Blue through 11:59 p.m. Eastern on November 30, 2026.
Flying Blue miles expire 2 years after the last account activity, and a transfer from Capital One resets that clock. Most awards carry taxes and fees. Cheap awards are far more restrictive under the new award structure. Even business class at the lowest award prices no longer comes with seat selection or lounge access. Surcharges on awards have gone up in recent years. Flying Blue does not publish an award chart.
Business-class connections to Europe can still price well when dates are flexible. A French rail partnership extends Flying Blue beyond Air France and KLM flights. Transfer only against a Flying Blue award that can be booked today, and do so before November 30, 2026.
