What happened
American Express is targeting some cardholders with an offer of a $150 statement credit for $1,500 or more spent on U.S.-origin Air France or KLM flights booked directly online through December 15, 2026.
Flights must be marketed by Air France or KLM and start in the United States. They have to be booked on a U.S. site or app and charged in dollars. The $1,500 can be split across more than one purchase, but only payments made during the offer period count. Partner sites and travel agents are excluded, and so are packages and most ancillaries.
Frequent Miler notes that unlike a recent version limited to Amex Travel, this one covers direct airline bookings, so taxes and fees on award tickets should count if the booking reaches $1,500. Only cardholders who were shown the offer can use it.
If the offer appears in Amex Offers, add it and put qualifying U.S.-origin Air France or KLM spend on the card before December 15, 2026.
