What happened
Air Tahiti Nui will install complimentary Starlink in every cabin on its four Boeing 787-9s in 2027. The airline has not named a month or quarter for the rollout.
Until then the Dreamliners keep Panasonic Wi-Fi with prices tied to data volume. A 100 MB bundle costs $28. Unlimited access costs $98. Long-haul flying such as Papeete to Los Angeles to Paris is where free high-speed Starlink would replace the paid Panasonic product on award tickets.
There is nothing to book or register for. Watch 2027 for an installation window if Air Tahiti Nui is on the itinerary.
