What happened
Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson's private island in the British Virgin Islands, is offering a limited-time redemption rate for Virgin Points holders. A minimum three-night all-inclusive stay for two people is available for 750,000 Virgin Points during the standard season (January 1 – December 19, 2026). This is a significant reduction from the standard rate of 2,000,000 points for a one-week stay. During the festive season (December 20 – December 26, 2026), the rate is 900,000 Virgin Points for three nights. Additional nights cost 250,000 points (standard) or 300,000 points (festive). The package includes meals, alcoholic beverages, watersports, and boat transfers from nearby airports, but excludes flights. For Chase Ultimate Rewards cardholders, a current 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic allows for a transfer of 577,000 Chase points to cover the 750,000 point cost. Bookings must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival and are subject to availability for Individual Stay Weeks in 2026
