Lufthansa Pilots and Flight Attendants Stage Consecutive Strikes, Grounding Airline for Five Days

Lufthansa is experiencing a major labor disruption with consecutive strikes from both pilots and flight attendants. Pilots struck on March 12-13 and again on April 13-14. Flight attendants struck on April 10 and are striking on April 15-16. Pilots are striking again on April 16-17, overlapping with the cabin crew strike. This results in five consecutive days of groundings (April 13-17) and six days of disruption over eight days. A vast majority of flights departing Germany are canceled.
