Condor adds seasonal Frankfurt-Chicago flights from May 14, 2027

What happened

Condor will fly Frankfurt to Chicago daily from May 14 through September 12, 2027, on an Airbus A330-900 with 30 business-class seats, after a 2025 court ruling stripped Condor of Lufthansa connecting feed at Frankfurt. The airline is dropping secondary U.S. cities such as Baltimore and San Antonio in favor of larger origin-and-destination markets. The Chicago flight is the only new U.S. route on the 2027 map.

Travelers can book American and Condor on one ticket with bags checked through after an interline opened in September. Boston already has those connections. Chicago O'Hare gets them from May. Frequent-flyer reciprocity is not included. Anchorage and Portland flights continue at Alaska hubs.

Atmos Rewards and TrueBlue members can earn and redeem on Condor. Large U.S. gateways are easier to combine with Frankfurt on a single ticket, but AAdvantage elite and mileage benefits are not in the deal. Condor says its Frankfurt network will stay narrower than Lufthansa's, and secondary U.S. cities could lose service.

Watch summer 2027 award space on the Frankfurt-Chicago A330-900 and use Alaska or JetBlue points rather than expecting American elite or mileage benefits.
