What happened

IHG One Rewards experienced a technical issue with its Summer Promotion email campaign, sending notifications that displayed '0K points' for '0 nights' instead of the actual bonus. This glitch affected members who recently earned points from the promotion, leading to concerns that the offer had been canceled. The promotion itself is valid: IHG One Rewards members staying at participating hotels between May 20 and August 31, 2026, can earn 8,000 points for every 4 paid nights. A separate double-points offer exists for Greater China member stays worldwide, and a double elite night credit offer runs from June 3 to July 31, 2026. IHG has not canceled the promotion; it was merely a display error in the email communication
