IHG One Rewards has launched a "2X Unlimited" promotion specifically for members residing in Greater China (mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan). Members can earn double points on qualifying stays globally from May 20 through August 31, 2026. The bonus points begin accruing from the second qualifying stay onwards, with unlimited earning potential. Eligibility requires an active IHG One Rewards account with a Greater China address and registration on IHG's website. Pre-registration opened May 6, 2026. Qualifying stays must be booked at a participating hotel under a qualifying rate with a minimum spend of $30 per night. Stays booked via online travel agencies (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia) or using Rewards Nights/Points & Cash do not qualify. The promotion applies to base points plus promotional bonus points combined equaling 2x the standard earn rate
