What happened

- Valid for all paid stays booked directly through IHG channels (website, app, or phone).
- Minimum spend of $30 USD per night required.
- Excludes award nights, Points & Cash bookings, and bookings made via Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).
- Stays at Candlewood Suites and Staybridge Suites earn only 5 base points per dollar.
- Elite status bonuses apply on top of the promo points (Silver 20%, Gold 40%, Platinum 60%, Diamond 100%). The promotion is considered a solid value for existing IHG guests, particularly those choosing the 8,000-point option which yields 2,000 points per night
IHG One Rewards has reinstated its 'Pick Your Points' promotion for Summer 2026, running from May 20 through August 31, 2026. This is the second year the promotion is active. Members must register in advance to participate. Upon registration, they must choose one of two earning structures for the entire promotion period:
