What happened
IHG One Rewards is selling points with a 100% bonus and a 3,500-point gift through October 13, 2026 ET on a single purchase of at least 35,000 points. Only members shown a personalized offer after signing in qualify.
Purchased and bonus points usually post within 72 hours. The 3,500-point gift posts within six weeks. A $350 purchase yields 73,500 points at 0.48 US cents each. A $2,000 purchase yields 403,500 points at 0.496 cents, near IHG's usual 0.5 US cents each. This is the program's eighth buy-points bonus of 2026.
The annual purchase cap is 200,000 points, already reduced by any earlier 2026 buys. Some accounts display a higher limit after login. Purchased and bonus points do not count toward elite status. They cannot be refunded and are subject to applicable taxes. The offer cannot be forwarded or combined with others.
Buy only if the cost beats cash for a stay already planned, after confirming the personal rate and leftover 2026 cap.
