What happened
World of Hyatt is selling Bonus Points at a 20% discount from August 6 through October 5, 2026, its third buy-points sale of the year. The discount applies only to a single online transaction of at least 5,000 points, bought in 1,000-point increments.
The sale is open to members of at least 60 days. Calendar-year purchases stop at 55,000 points. Points post within 48 hours and can be used for any World of Hyatt award. Bought points are non-refundable and do not count toward elite tiers. The discount cannot be combined with other offers.
LoyaltyLobby puts the cost at 2.08 cents a point, below Hyatt's typical 30% off or 40% bonus sales. Awards remain bookable whenever standard rooms are for sale, so a night can still cost less in points than cash when rates jump.
